<br>The Library is a valuable resource centre and is open to anyone who requires help with family history research.<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>From humble beginnings in 1978 MDGS now has one of the largest collections of family history resources in regional Victoria.&nbsp; In addition to the usual birth death and marriages, family histories and cemetery records etc. held by genealogical societies we have an impressive number of local Sunraysia histories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sunraysia District comprises the towns of Mildura, Birdwoodton, Merbein, Yelta, Cabarita, Irymple, Nichols Point, Red Cliffs, Nursery Ridge, Cardross, Sunny Cliffs, Karadoc, Stewart, Koorlong, Nangiloc, Colignan, Yatpool, the Millewa, Werrimull and Cullulleraine.&nbsp;
